Upside-down Forks

Upside-down forks are used everywhere where additional lift height is required. They are attached with the fork blade facing upwards by means of fork hooks that are slid onto the fork carriage. Due to the resulting forces, it is necessary to reinforce the fork hooks. In addition, they can be stiffened by a gusset plate. Swan-neck Forks

Safe transport without a transport carrier

There are some goods that could be damaged by the inner heel radius of a StandardFork (i.e. wooden plates, sensitive pallets, etc.). The solution is swan-neck forks: The inner heel radius is offset to the rear. Thus, the nominal length of the fork can be completely used.

Roller-guided Forks

Roller-guided forks are often used on high-capacity forklift trucks and in port logistics. The fork is guided on the fork carriage by rollers mounted on the fork. There are no standardized dimensions for the suspension of roller-guided forks. However, the VETTER database already contains a wide range of variants. Don’t hesitate to contact us!

Blank Forks

Blanks forks are forks that do not have a suspension and are often used in the attachment industry or when a subsequent customization to suit the equipment is required. Every cross-section and every length is also available as a blank. In the standard version blanks are available with and without the OptimaForkHeel. Please specify this in your enquiry or order!

Pin Type Forks

Pin-type forks are often used on large forklift trucks and construction machinery. The fork has an eyelet that is slid over a corresponding shaft on the machine. The English designation “pin-type” is also commonly used in other countries. Especially on construction machinery, pin type forks provide for a floating function that facilitates use outdoors and on uneven surfaces. Bolt-on Forks

Bolt-on forks are often used on large forklift trucks and attachments, e.g. multi pallet handlers for the beverage industry. Holes in the fork shank allow them to be bolted onto the fork carriage. Due to the holes and the resulting notch effect, the load-bearing capacity is lower than that of standard forks of comparable cross-section. We thus highly recommend that bolt-on forks are designed and calculated by VETTER. The hole pattern is not standardized. However, the VETTER database already contains a wide range of variants.
